Hey! I'm Sparky!
I'm a founding member of the MyBarkChart team. Right now, the team consists of one human and me. I'm nine years old, and a very good girl!
When I was about five years old, my mom started having my bloodwork checked regularly. Much to everyone's surprise, my liver levels were elevated. Over the next two years, those levels skyrocketed, and I had to start taking medication. I was also evaluated for Cushing's disease, but the testing came back negative.
These days, I'm under the care of a specialist at one clinic, along with my regular veterinary team at another. Both clinics frequently run bloodwork, monitor my health, and make changes to my medications.
My mom was getting frustrated trying to keep track of all those numbers, medications, and veterinary visits across different clinics. So she decided to build MyBarkChart!
Mom saw a need and created a website to help solve it. She knows we're not the only family juggling medical records from multiple veterinarians, and she hopes MyBarkChart can make things a little easier for other pets and their people.
